Why does Mix & Match charge a booking fee?
To help operate the Mix & Match platform, we charge a booking fee for airfares booked on our website or via our call centre.
The Mix & Match booking fee enables us to bring you the very best airfares available every day, as well as the flexibility to mix and match one way and return fares on all of your favourite airlines to and from your destination.
In addition to maintaining our award-winning website, you have access to a number of free features associated with your booking including the free Mix & Match app & customer support via our New Zealand-based call centre.
Online booking fees
We charge a booking fee per person every time a flight booking is confirmed, with the exception of longahul bookings which have a $0 booking fee when you are logged in to the Mix & Match website. The amount of booking fee varies based on the destination the customer is travelling to. The exact amount of the booking fee is displayed on the Traveller Details page before the customer confirms a booking

Above online booking fees are non refundable and are charged per adult and child (there is no fee for infants).
The fee is the same for one way or return bookings.

Above offline booking or service fees are per person, per ticket, per change or cancellation and are non refundable. These are in addition to any supplier or airline charges.
